Hi, my name is Björn Neumann. I am a aspiaring actor/model. With this page I want to give you a short introduction of myself and the reason why I want to work as actor and model.

My connection to film and tv came from my family at a very young age. My father showed me the great Star Wars films relatively early on. I was overwhelmed by the world that was unfolding before my eyes.

During my childhood, I spent most of my time impersonating scenes and characters from films and series with my friends. Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Batman, Transformers played a big part of my childhood and that didn’t change when I was at school.

At an early age, I took part in a theater production at my elementary school and really enjoyed slipping into the role of someone else. The first time I actually became completely enthusiastic about the idea of ​​starring in a film myself was the first time I saw the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings films. The world seemed so tangible, so special, so unique.

From then on, I took every opportunity at school to partake in short film projects and performances. I wrote scripts, screenplays, helped with camera work and often starred in several film projects in order to gain at least a little experience in a wide variety of areas.

After finishing school, I immediately began to delve into the art of acting. I got literature and took several courses. This also included a theater course in which I took on a leading role in the play. Nowadays, being an actor is no longer just about working as an actor itself. During this time I also had my first experiences in front of the lens through my mother, who worked as a photographer.

I think what attracted me to cinema and the performing arts in the end and from the beginning was the fascination for the freedom that comes with this profession. One thing that many people lose as they get older is the childishness, the desire to play, but this art allows me to play throughout my life and to immerse myself in not just one, but the most diverse lives of different worlds.

Every now and then everyone wishes to escape from this world, from this life, to simply leave everyday worries behind and experience something different, something fantastic. The cinema is a place where you go to escape all the stress just for a moment. Over time, I realized that this is exactly what I want to do. I want to act in works, in worlds, in stories and in the lives of different characters, in those that give people something, that make them forget what is currently bothering them. I want to act in stories that last, that fascinate people, that make them think, that maybe just make them forget and those, which stay in their minds.
